With enhanced entrance options for our vans, fleets can take advantage of cost effective alternatives to full-sized buses. Sunset’s new line of entrance options offer optimum value by providing lower purchase prices, lower fuel expenses, lower maintenance costs, lower insurance rates, and lower depreciation rates—all translating to lower costs of ownership for our customers.
Take advantage of significant savings on the purchase price of one of our new products vs. a full size bus. The five-year cost-to-own for either vehicle is a fraction of the upfront purchase price on a standard bus, which can run significantly higher in price. That’s a lot of financial incentive, especially for small scale public transit.
Our passenger rapid electric dual sliding bus door entrance on the Ram ProMaster includes industry-leading efficiency for passenger and wheelchair loading. Our door is the widest and tallest entrance in it’s class and has been built to last for a whopping 150,000-mile transit cycle. The door features both mechanical and electric controls as well as electronic pressure sensors and emergency override during vehicle motion for maximum safety. Our exclusively designed lowered floor, ramp, and rapid sliding entrance doors will soon become the industry standard in its class.
